New Shoshoni has an interest in a diamond property in Canada's diamond-rich Arctic. The property is known to host a diamondiferous kimberlite.

The Lac de Gras diamond property, located in the Lac de Gras region of Canada's Artic is only 60 km north of the Ekati Diamond Mine. A patchwork of earlier exploration programs on the property has identified a number of unexplained till and geophysical anomalies. A limited 1997 drill program discovered the LI-201 diamondiferous kimberlite, from which samples yielded 14 macro-diamonds and 46 micro-diamonds from a 281 kg sample. Anglo-Swiss Resources (TSX-V:ASW) holds an option to earn up to a 60% interest from NSV in this project.

Portions of the property were explored by a number of previous operators. Past  programs included regional and detailed till sampling, airborne and ground geophysics, and drilling. The property lies within an established diamondiferous kimberlite field. The Lac de Gras property hosts the LI-201 diamondiferous kimberlite; discovered by Kennecott Canada Exploration, in 1997. Kennecott collected a 281kg composite kimberlite sample from two drill holes. The samples yielded 14 macro-diamonds and 46 micro-diamonds. Preliminary drill hole data suggests the projected width of LI-201 to be on the order of 29 metres, although geophysical data suggests that the kimberlite body may be significantly larger. In addition, ground magnetic data indicates that the kimberlite may extend up to 200 metres northwards and/or southwards indicating it is a dyke or sill. Extensive work on the property is planned by Anglo-Swiss in 2007.
